Ningxia宁夏 As you see,the theme I will show you is Ningxia.Before the presentation,I need explain something. It’s where I was born and where I had lived many years.However,my parents come from Anhui(安徽）.So Ningxia isn’t my hometown. At first,I’d like to show you some photos of my high school. My high school is called Yinchuan NO.2 High School.（银川二中） OK,let’ go to the pictures. I always use two words to describethe gate.One is splendid,as you can feel;another is luxurious. The gate cost several million yuan. Minister of Education once criticized the design of the gate. Don’t forget that Ningxia is a backward province. Some children who live in the mountainous area still haven’t got the chance to study. There’s a legend about Yinchuan. A phoenix flew to the bank of the Yellow River and landed. Then it changed into a beautiful city. The city is Yinchuan. Because of this amazing legend Yinchuan is also called phoenix city.(凤城）Besides it,Yinchuan has other names,such as Upper pannonia peal.(塞上明珠）Ningxia wins the reputation of upper pannonia jiangnan .(塞上江南) Maybe that sounds a little exaggerated.But there are some reasonable reasons.
