Unit 13 教材简析 本单元的中心话题是“健康饮食”，涉及的内容非常广泛，从垃圾食品和健康食品的区分到饮食习惯与健康的密切关系，从营养小吃到美味食谱及其设计等，另外还引出了多种提建议的方式。所有这些无一不是围绕这一中心话题展开的。 课时安排 （6课时） Period 1: Warming up Listening Period 2: Speaking Period 3 4: Reading Period 5: Integrating skills Period 6: Grammar 课堂教学设计 Period 1Warming up and Listening Teaching aims Talk about some food and let students get a basic knowledge of healthy food and junk food. Help them form good eating habits. Practise seeing the doctor. (Listening) Brain storming 由刚过的春节引出饮食这个话题，以“大脑风暴”的形式让学生尽可能多地说出一些食物的名称，并引导他们思考这些食物是否属于健康食品 (healthy food or junk food)。 What do you usually eat in the Spring Festival? 在学生描述多种食物并发表自己的看法之后，得出一个结论： Generally speaking, junk food is usually the food that is rich in fat, sugar and so on. Healthy food is the food that contains a lot of fibre, vitamins and so on. Group work Ask your classmates what they like to eat. Make a list of the food and decide whether what they eat is junk food or not. Class work Discuss the eating habits of some classmates and try to give them some advice. Listening 通过刚才的class work和group work转到了不良饮食习惯给我们带来的问题，提问： Can you give some examples of bad eating habits that can cause many problems? 生病了就要去看医生，从而很自然地过渡到“Listening”这个环节，看医生的这两个对话在训练听力的同时，也让学生明白了良好的饮食习惯不仅指健康食品，还应包括饮食适量。 Period 2Speaking Teaching aims Learn some new words and expressions about diseases Describe symptom of disease clearly To communicate with the doctor about disease freely 以第一课时的听力材料为铺垫导入本单元“Speaking”的中心话题－“就医”，再以问题的形式检查学生对本课所需语言的已知程度，以便顺利过渡到下一步编对话的任务。 我们日常生活中可能碰到的除了胃部不适，还会有很多其他的疾病和意外伤害。让学生尽可能多地举出些常见的疾病，然后组内讨论就如何对待这些疾病这个问题提出自己的建议，并选出一位同学汇报讨论的结果。 先给学生展示一个医生与病人之间对话的范例，然后每两位同学选定一个话题（可以选择书上提供的三个情景之一）模仿范例，运用课本上给出的”useful expressions”编一个对话并将其表演出来。 Period 3 4Reading Teaching aims Get to know something about how people make choices on food and the standard of healthy eating Understand the importance of developing good eating habits Learn some useful words, phrases and sentence patterns Lead-in How man
