Chinese Dream in different people’s eyes The Chinese Dream is a new term within Chinese socialist thought and describes a set of ideals in the Peoples Republic of China. In 2013 the Communist Party (CPC) General Secretary Xi Jinping began promoting the phrase as a slogan, leading to its widespread use in the Chinese media. (Xi Jinping and the Chinese Dream, 2013) Xi has described the dream as national rejuvenation, improvement of people’s livelihoods, prosperity, construction of a better society and military strengthening.” (Evan, 2013) He has stated that young people should dare to dream, work assiduously to fulfill the dreams and contribute to the revitalization of the nation. (Yang, 2013) Different people have different opinions about Chinese Dream. Ordinary people think the Chinese Dream is have a better life. Nowadays, people feel that employment pressure is big, sometimes there are still be world-weary speaking. In the same time, Chinas nationwide housing price index has risen about 10% per year since 2001 with reasonable consistency. Many people become mortgage slaves, so they should work hard and feel tired. They hope as countries develop, their pressure will reduce and their dreams will come true. Such as buying a bigger house, having great social security and so on. Some farmers also hope their children can get the better education at cities.
