Clinical Study on Treating Hyperlipidemia with the Method of Liver-discharging, Spleen-nourishing and Blood Circulation Speciality：Iternal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine Author：Guo Jialin Tutor：prof.Zhang Xuezi Abstract Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of self-designed Chinese medicinal formulae in treating hyperlipidemia and its safety.Methods:Sixty patients of Phlegm-Damp Syndrome in Hyperlipidemia were divided into therapeutic group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases) randomly. The patients of therapeutic group were received Chinese medicine, each medicinal preparation water will fry two times will take juice 200ml respectively, after the mix, altogether 400ml sooner or later to divide. The patients of control group were given Zocor(simvastatin), each one (20mg), once a day. The course of treatment lasted 8 weeks.The scores of TCM syndrome index and the changes of laboratory parameters were observed and compared before and after treatment. Results: 1.The comparison of TCM points between two groups before and after treatment:After treatment,TCM points of Chinese medicine symptoms are significantly lower than before treatment,and there is statistically significant difference (P0.01). 2.Clinical Comparison of two groups before and after treatment: After treatment,the total effective rate is 86.67%(treatment group), 83.33% (control group),and there is no statistically significant difference (P0.05),which reveals two groups have the same treatment. 3.The comparison of blood lipids in Two groups before and after treatment:the two groups after treatment in patients with TC, TG, LDL-C, are lower than those before therapy and HDL-C has increased. There is statistically significant In the same group (P0.05).In lower plasma viscosity and whole blood viscosity, The treatment group had significant efficacy than the control,compared the two groups,there is significant difference (P0.05),which shows the treatment group has good effect in lower
