Numerical control technology is widely used for machinery manufacturing production mode, production structure, management mode brings profound changes, its associated benefits and radiation ability is difficult to estimate. Numerical control technology and numerical control equipment has become a national strategy and reflect the national comprehensive national strength level of the important fundamental industry, its level is the core of the measure of a countrys manufacturing modernization degree, realize the numerical control machine tools and production process, has become the development direction of todays manufacturing.  This paper mainly introduces the definition of nc machine tools, CNC machine beginners request, the preparing work before machining, Nc machine program instruction, the working principle and structure of the nc machine tools, processing characteristics, geometrical accuracy of the machine tool processing requirements, The advantages and disadvantages of nc machine tools, CNC machine tool and computer automatic technology, machine tool maintenance and production safety requirements.
