我国城市老年人选择机构养老的影响因素分析 摘要：老龄化社会面临的一个主要问题是老年人居住安排的选择。研究老年人选择机构养老方式的影响因素可以从一个侧面反映老年人的养老模式偏好和居住安排倾向。本文利用2000年老年人一次性抽样调查数据，利用probit模型，选择个人特征、家庭状况、健康水平、经济状况四个方面的变量来分析我国城市老年人选择机构养老方式的影响因素。对探讨未来养老模式的发展变化、家庭养老和社会养老的前景趋势提供一定的理论事实基础，为政府制定养老政策提供依据。研究结果显示，虽然理论上子女数量的减少将导致老年人由家庭养老转向社会养老，但是目前这种改变并没有影响我国传统的家庭养老模式。老年人对来自子女的照顾和赡养仍存在相当的依赖，特别是儿子，“养儿防老”的观念还将在一段时间内盛行。 关键词：城市老年人 机构养老 家庭状况 Analysis on the Determinants of Choosing Institution for the Elderly in Urban China Abstract: One important issue in ageing society is the choice of the elderly living arrangement. In recent years, homes or other institutions for the elderly of different scales and levels have been established in China. With research on the determinants of choosing institution for the elderly, we could reveal the preference of providing model for the aged and the inclination of living arrangement. The paper uses the data of Sampling Survey of the aged in 2000 and probit model. The variables of personal characteristics, family status, health status and economics situation are chosen to analyze the determinants of choosing institution for the elderly. The results reveal that although the decreasing of the children would result in the transition from family providing the aged to society providing, this change has not influence the traditional model. The elderly has comparative dependence on the care and support from the children, especially sons. Therefore, the concept of “prevent ageing by raising sons” would still prevail in a long run. Key words: the urban elderly, providing the aged of institutions, family status 1 问题提出 老年人养老方式研究是老年学界的热点问题之一。尤其是在人口老龄化程度不断深入的背景下，该问题引起各界学者的广泛关注。研究老年人选择机构养老的意愿及其影响因素，可以分析老年人家庭养老和社会养老的倾向性及其未来发展趋势。现有文献从理论和实证两个方面对影响老年人选择养老方式的因素进行了研究。 翟德华等对居家养老与机构养老选择决策进行了理论研究，认为老年个体的自身条件是决定其成功选择养老方式的关键因素，并假定这些自身条件主要是年龄、收入、子女数、居住环境、健康状况和心理等六种因素（翟德华等，2005）。丁煜等利用Logistic回归模型研究了城市老年人对非家庭养老方式的态度及其影响因素，将影响老年人对非家庭养老方式态度的因素分为两大类，即社会变量和经济变量。其中社会变量包括个人特征（年龄、性别、文化程度、婚姻状况）和家庭特征。在后一类变量中，他们选择了子女数、是否与未婚子女同住、是否与已婚儿子同住、是否与已婚女儿同住
