Disciplinary teaching and research also showed the trend of information technology. Network teaching and research as a product of the information age overcome the shortcomings of traditional teaching and research and complement the traditional teaching and research and provide strong technical and content protection for teachers professional development. Now, we can understand the growing importance of teaching and research at home and abroad to network. But most of the research is still in the initial stage. Network and research study is to summarize some of the practical experience. And research on the theoretical basis of the network has not been a systematic study. These studies have provided research-oriented space. In this study, using the method of theoretical analysis and literature review, analysis the background, definitions, characteristics and relevant theory of network and research. Using the method of the actual survey, analysis the status of network teaching and research. We found problems and research related strategies. Finally, we can conclude that the network can promote teachers professional development and research to improve the quality of teaching.
