At the same time more and more people learn English for their special purposes. Thus, application and the research of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) have arisen, such as English for Science and Technology (EST), Legal English, Business English and Tourism English and so on. With the development of our national economy and opening, the tourism industry has developed a lot.  More foreign friends enter our country and more Chinese go aboard for sightseeing.  According to the  WTO statistics, “Until 2020, China will be the No.1 tourism destination and the fourth country with visitor  outside.  Tourism will be the pillar industry of our economy.”  Thus, the demands on the tourist  practitioner increase.
