Faced with numerous difficulties and problems in the development of core competitive ability is more and more cause the attention of the coal enterprises. Based on the theory of core competence, yicheng mining companies as a case study and the core competence evaluation system, the purpose is for our coal enterprises to provide some reference in further enhance core competitiveness. First of all, in this paper, by combining the characteristics of large state-owned coal enterprises, analyses the intension of the coal enterprise core competitive ability, the relationship between the level, stage and safety, to build the coal enterprise core competitiveness evaluation system laid a solid theoretical foundation. Secondly, by using the fuzzy evaluation model, using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to solve the problem of index weight distribution, so as to build the coal enterprise core competitiveness based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model. Then, on the basis of the index design principles and ideas, this article selects a set of scientific and reasonable evaluation index system. Respectively from the management ability, technical skills, policy support, market competition, enterprise growth capacity, environmental governance capacity evaluation index selected for six, systematically build up by six secondary index and 19 thre
