Unit 3 We’re trying to save the manatees. （一）教材分析 本节课的教学内容是九年级第三单元的Section A 1a-2c Grammar focus,其语言目标为I am like this animal because I am strong and intelligent．I like water, and I like to eat vegetables，通过学习让学生会运用目标语言去描述动物，听说内容是围绕学生感兴趣的濒危动物而展开的，但是听力内容的难度较大，因此要多角度、多层面的展示听力内容，使听力与对话自然过渡。本节课将采取有效的强化练习，使学生在交流的同时，勇于运用所学知识，并在运用过程中达到综合能力的全面提升。 （二）学情分析 教师通过听、说、读、写多种感官的有效训练，创设情景，充分调动学生的积极性，对学生进行发散思维训练，培养学生的想象力，提高学生的逻辑表述能力。随着学生语言知识的不断提高，语言技能和英语交际能力的不断提高，学生的创造力在交流运用中也得到充分的体现。 （三）教学目标 知识目标: （1） Key Vocabulary： manatee, cheetah, chimpanzee, kangaroo, polar-bear, gentle, furry, enormous, playful, noisy, aggressive, spotted （2） Target Language：--I am like this animal because I am strong and intelligent． --I like water, and I like to eat vegetables． 能力目标：（1） Train students’ listening ability． （2） Train students’ communicative competence． 情感目标：Love all kinds of animals because they are our friends． （四）教学重难点 教学重点：掌握重点词汇；能够灵活运用语言目标与实际的交际中。 教学难点：训练学生的听说技能。 （五）教学准备 对媒体 （六）教学过程 Step I: Warming-up and Lead- in 1.
