The volleyball receives people from all walks of lifes affection as one kind of external culture since it has been spread to Guangdong. From 50s to the 80s of last century, the Guangdong volleyball, specially Tai Shan’s, once was very famous in our country on its popularization degree, the technique and tactics level, moreover it had owned the great reputation in the word . Entering into the 80s, the world volleyball had a great of development on all players on Attack and defense, the volleyball movement entered into a new era. Under this kind of situation, the Guangdong volleyball has been impacted strongly, the Guangdong nationality athletes population proportion also had come into the drop tendency in the national sports team and the national various teams, the Guangdong Province male and female volleyball teams were dismissed, at the same time it also was cancelled the majority of spare time physical culture schools. From that time Guangdong volleyball movement fell into the trough. The Guangdong Province developed volleyball movement must take the teenager volleyball movement as the foundation, the volleyball reserve talented person is not only strategic problem of the volleyball movement development, but also is essential link of the Guangdong volleyball movement progress and foundation of development and enhancement on Athletics level.
