A Teaching Plan
For the students of the seventh grade of junior middle school

Teaching material: Unit 5, Topic1,Section A 1a-2b in Grade7 of the students book Ren’ai English.
Teaching material and learning situation analysis: There are three topics in this unit. Topic1 is about talking about means of transportation, expressing frequency, talking about daily routines, interviewing people. Topic 2 is about talking about school facilities, borrowing and looking for things, talking about school activities. Topic 3 is about talking about school activities, subjects, timetable, posters and news, talking about interests, likes and dislikes. In this class, there are five task activities designed, of which 1a, 1b and 1c are about listening, reading and speaking and 2a is about looking and matching and 2b is about listening.
Teaching aims and demands:
Knowledge objectives: Vocabulary: gate, by, subway, always, on foot, plane, train, ship, boat Phrases: at the school gate, by bike, come/go to school, by subway/underground, by bus, come on, by car, by plane, on foot, by train, by ship, by boat Drills: It’s time for class. How do you usually come to school How does he/she come to school Dialogue: A: Happy New Year! B: The same to you.
A: Nice to see you again. B: Nice to see you, too. A: How do you usually come to school B: I usually come to school by bus. Grammar: Learn adverbs of frequency.
Ability objective: Learn to talk about means of transportation.
Emotion objective: Make the students learn to greet others politely to enhance friendship of people.
The development of learning strategies:
Acquire the new knowledge by observation, discovery, and exploration and make a progress by listening skillfully, speaking boldly, reading loudly, writing with deep thoughts and practicing repeatedly.
