* Finding the geometrical centre of the frame To find the geometrical centre using the frame and inserts measure the geometrical centre horizontally by finding the point midway between the two extremes of the lens shape horizontally (these extremes are the tangents to the shape, as in the boxing system). Now find the vertical centre between the tangents to the shape at the top and bottom. The intersection of these measurements is the geometrical centre of the shape.
