一、教学内容分析:
本课是新目标英语八年级上册第4单元第一课.本单元围绕谈论交通工具(transportation)和距离为中心话题,这个题材开展多种教学活动,与上一单元联系紧密.本节课是本单元的重点.通过学习谈论交通方式,为今后学习合理安排行程,合理选用交通工具以及设计实践调查报告并提出解决问题的简单方案打下基础,同时通过How do you get to school?以及pairwork的反复操练,进一步提高学生听、说、读、写综合素质能力。
二、教学目标:
(1)知识目标
1.Language goal:How do you get to school
I take the bus.How does he go to school? He take the bus.
2.学习单词:subway,train, take,复习学过的bus、ride bike、wake、car这些表交通方式的单词[我对单词的处理:利用PPt演示图片教学与复习
(2)能力目标:通过学习,掌握现代生活中常用的交通工具,学会谈论交通方式。提高学生听、说、读、写综合能力,提高学生对一般现在时态用法、结构的理解和使用。
(3)情感目标:通过本课学习,使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人,学会交换不同的看法,了解他人的喜好,增进情谊。
三、教学重难点
(1)教学重点:
掌握各种交通工具的名称,学会表述自己和谈论他人的交通方式。
(2)教学难点:
一般现在时态第一到第三人称表述词形的变化
四、教学过程设计
步骤1:Leading-in
T: Good morning, boys and girls. What a sunny day! Tell me how you come to school every morning.
The students speak out their ways.
T: Teacher is pleased with the students’ answers. And then write Monday, Tuesday … and Friday.
Ask the students how they get to school from Monday to Friday.
设计意图:导入
步骤2:Presentation
T: Now, let’s think about how we go to school on weekdays and write them down on your exercise book.
Give the students two minutes, then let the students practice asking and answering.
T: How do you get to school every morning?
S1: I get to school by bus.
T: How does he get to school every morning? (Point to S1, and ask S2.)
S2: He gets to school every morning.
T: How do you get to school on weekdays?
S3: I get to school on foot on weekdays.
T: How does she get to school on weekdays? (Point to S3, and ask S4.)
S4: She gets to school on foot on weekdays.
Give several pictures to the students, ask more students in the same way.
T: How does he go to school every day? (Point to Picture a)
S5: He goes to school by bike every day.
T: How does she go to school every day? (Point to Picture b)
S6: She goes to school by bus every day.
T: How does the man go to work every day? (Point to Picture c)
