3)Talk freely, using the former language points.

1)learn the new new words: better 、worse.
2 Learn to distinguish and use “ better” 、“worse”.
3)Learn the new sentences: He/ She is better.
He/ She is worse.
A is better than B. B is worse than A.
Teaching important points and difficult points:
1、New words: better worse
2、New sentences;
① He/ She is better. He/ She is worse..
② Compare with somehting using the sentences: A is better than B.
B is worse than A.

Students case:
Students are in Grade 4. They have learnt comparative degree.They have learnt words: bigger/smaller/taller/shorter/longer/fatter.

Teaching Process.
Step 1. Students sing some English songs.

Step 4. Lead-in
① T:Look ! 出示两份试卷进行比校, 一份试卷85分,一份试卷95分 教师引导学生说出两个句型: She is good. He is better. B is better than A.
② 操练单词:good, better. 带读并板书
③ 操练与巩固句型:(两份试卷进行比校, 一份试卷89分,一份试卷96分) She is good. He is better. B is better than A.
Step 5. Play games.
① 生生、师生进行唱歌比赛(2人进行擂台赛)
T:Who is good ? Who is better S1:: I think he is good.
S2: She is better.
S3: A is better than B.
(利用唱歌比赛调动学生学习的热情,学生纷纷发表意见,教师最后点评,并奖励stickers.)
