ABSTRACT ABSTRACT ‘Agriculture，rural areas and farmers”，agriculture-related problems，have become a major factor that restrains the balanced development of China’economy and the bottleneck that hinds the construction of a harmonious society and the realization of urban—rural integration development．Such factors as a large population base in China,low quality of farmers’individual production technology and narrow employment fields have a serious impact on the increase of farmers’income and employment shifting to other industries． Famers’entrepreneurial training，a new type of production，has made a commendable attempt in farmers’income increasing．Entrepreneurship is a powerful impetus to economic development．And farmers’entrepreneurship is a principal way to solve the problems of employment and income increasing．It is required for rural economy and social development in China to alleviate entrepreneurial training for farmers to nurture modem agricultural entrepreneurs．How to improve farmers’business philosophy,strengthen their entrepreneurial sense and improve their entrepreneurial ability is the key issue in entrepreneurial training work． At first,the thesis explians the theory of human capital，the theory of educational economics，the thoery of life—long education and the thoery of public administration,and clarifies the content and relations of such concepts as entrepreneurship，entrepreneurial training，farmers and training for farmers，general training and entrepreneurial training，and training for farmers and entrepreneurial training for farmers．Secondly,the thesis analyzes and summarizes the modes and experiences that Can be used tor reference in foreign countries in order to set relecation for entrepreneurial training for farmers in Suzhouto． Thirdly,the thesis set a questionnaire to investigate into the farmers taking part in entrepreneurial training in Suzhou,through which much information is clear-一farmers’ civilization quality,the industries and scale of entrepren
