Train the students’ ability to get the general idea and grasp important details of the text by listening to it. 2. Train the students’ ability to make a summary about the material which they have heard and read. Section A: A Busy Weekday Morning 1. Students are able to understand the passages thoroughly by reading them. 2. Students will be able to write one short paragraph with a series of actions organized according to the order of the sequence, using time markers. 3. Students will be able to grasp some words and expressions and some sentence structures in the unit. 4. In terms of grammar, students will learn about the information about “as”. Section B: Parent Talk Students will be able to distinguish between facts and opinions. Enable the students to grasp the main idea and some important expressions. Ⅴ.
