1) To introduce the travel in context and made it comprehensible.
2) Learn the sentences and talk about it :Where are you going on holiday? I’m going to…How are you going to get there? By bus /plane/ship/train. 教学重点:New words and the drills in the dialogue.
教学难点: Can talk about travelling. 教具、学具:Tape pictures toy bear 教学过程:
一. Meeting
Sing along.
Greeting.
二. Revision
1. Act out unit 8 in groups.
2. Say about “be going to…”
三.Presentation and practice.
1. Show the card to pupils. T: what day is it today?
P: It’s Friday.
T: Tomorrow is Saturday . I’m going to Guangzhou. What about you? Are you going to Zengcheng or Guangzhou?
2. Ask the pupils
T: Where are you going on holiday?
P1; I’m going to Shenzhen. 第 页
P2: I’m going to Shanghai.
P3;I’m going to Beijing.
Ask the pupil one by one.
3. Show the picture about plane ,train ,bus, ship. Then ask the pupils:
How are you going to get there? By bus? By plane? By ship? By train?
