The candidate needs to use vocabulary that is appropriate for answering question. The examiner will check that the correct forms of words are used and that spelling is accurate. Grammar GRA refers to the range and accuracy of tenses and sentence structures. The examiner will assess the ability of the candidate to use both simple and complex structures and will also assess whether or not mistakes make the writing harder to comprehend.
