Unluckily, his new teacher, Mr. Fleagle, had a reputation among students for dullness and inability to inspire. Mr. Fleagle distributed a homework sheet offering the students a choice of topics. The writer recalled the night in Belleville when his family were seated around the supper table, eating Spaghetti. So he wrote “The Art of Eating Spaghetti”. Mr. Fleagle read this essay in class and praised the writer. At that moment, the writer under
