Introduction The successful operation of UASB-like ( UASB / EGSB、IC ) reactors relies on the formation and maintenance of anaerobic granules under upflow hydraulic condition. Question 1: The hydraulic characteristics of the granules (such as settling and ?expansion characteristic) are very important to the formation and maintenance of the granules of good quality; The hydrodynamics of UASB-like reactors have notable influence on the structure stability of the granules and the removal capacity of the reactors .
