課程名稱： 中文 環境微生物特論 英文 Special Topics on Environmental Microbiology 課程碼 p552100 學分數 3 授課教師 吳哲宏 開課系所 環工系 開課班別 碩博 課程類別 選修 先修科目 課程碼 課程名稱 銜接課程相關說明 微生物學或環境微生物學 Microbiology 欲修習本課程者，需有微生物相關背景知識 The students who would like take this course are required to have microbiology relevant background. 課程內容介紹 中文 本課程首先將由授課老師介紹環境微生物學的基礎知識，內容包含微生物特性、多樣性、演化、親緣、功能、以及在自然環境與環工工程程序中之行為表現。此外，以環境微生物研究導向之分析工具與技術將會詳細地講解，以期對學生未來的研究有所幫助。然後，課程中將就水質指標微生物、 微生物與金屬污染、微生物與有機污染之分解與生物復育、生質能源、生物膜與污泥、水中藻類，環境基因體等環境微生物課題，透過學生準備之專題口頭報告後，然後在課堂上進行深入的討論。修課學生所選擇報告的專題必須是具有連貫性之同一主題至少三篇高品質期刊論文，並分三次口頭報告；另外，指定內容口頭講解一次。本課程將會特別重視如何利用網路、期刊文章以及網路工具蒐尋獲取最新的研究報告、技術與相關知識，以及英文簡報之訓練。 課程內容介紹 英文 In this course, the instructor will firstly introduce the basic content of Environmental Microbiology, including the microbial properties, diversity, evolution, phylogeny, function and behavior of microorganisms in natural and engineering systems. In addition, a great emphasis is placed on the biological analytical tools with an aim at conveying research-orientated knowledge to the students. Then, several special topics such as Microbial Indicators for Water Quality, Microorganisms and Metal Pollutants, Microorganisms and Organic Pollutants-Bioremediation and Biodegradation, Microorganisms and Bioenergy, Microbial Consortia-Sludge and Biofilm, Environmental Genomics will be gave rise to the attention through the student’s presentation in coupling with the intensive group discussion. The use of the internet, scientific journal articles and web-based tools as a valuable source of up-to-date information will be emphasized. 課程目標 The functional role of microorganisms with ecologically and environmentally significance is conveyed through the instructor’s lecture, student’s presentation and group discussion on specific topics of environmental microbiology.
