台中市商業區外籍勞工之聚集與都市空間分割化關連性之初探 陳坤宏國立臺南大學台灣文化研究所近年來，外籍勞動者在全球化時代的經濟動力下，如何造就了新的全球城市，以及這樣的資本與人力資源的大規模流動，對於移居國的都會空間產生重大的影響，已成為學術界值得探討的課題，而且，在過去國內也比較缺乏此一課題的研究。因此，本研究旨在探討「菲律賓、印尼、泰國籍外籍勞工在都市商業區的聚集與消費活動所造成之都市空間分割化的意義與影響」，並以台中市外勞街為經驗研究的地區。本研究採用的研究方法主要包括問卷調查、參與觀察法、歸納分析與解釋等種方法。本研究所需資料主要來自在商業區中聚集消費之外勞受訪者的回答答案、當地社區居民的回答答案、以及商店老闆的回答答案。資料分析方式則利用SPSS10.3版統計軟體進行統計與分析工作。成果包括：消費活動顯示顯示 關鍵詞：外籍勞工、聚集、都市空間分割化、台中市 Explorations on Migrant Workers’ Gathering in Urban Commercial Area and Its Relations Between the Partitioning of Urban Space in Taichung City Chen Kung-Hung Professor, Graduate Institute of Taiwan Culture, National University of Tainan, Tainan City, Taiwan, R. We will take on empirical study in the citys’ commercial area or shopping street in Taichung City. Three major research methods are applied, including questionnaire survey, participant observation and analysis and interpretation. Data will be obtained from the questionnaire answers of local inhabitants and shop keepers and analysed via SPSS10.3 statistical methods. The main outcomes of this study are as follows： partitioning of urban space has begun to become. And, community inhabitants have significant attitude than shop keepers. （2）In the impacts of migrant workers’ gathering on commercial streets, shop keepers also have tolerant attitude than community inhabitants . （）’ gathering/consumption activities have resulted in divided cities in Taichung City. And local inhabitants who think that there are changes before/after in“cultural”and “activities”dimensions of migrant workers’ gathering/consumption activities, then divided cities will happen in Taichung City. In the viewpoint of shop keepers, who are non-overseas Chinese, low education degree, Christians, the married and the unmarried generally
