This paper is to study the multimedia in the high school biology teaching present situation, for the purpose of using the literature survey method and the analysis of questionnaire investigation and comparison method was studied. Through to the sichuan province XuanHan middle school and the investigations of the shuguang middle school high school biology teaching, summarizes advantages existing in multimedia teaching technology in biology teaching and the existing shortcomings. Aimed at the status quo of multimedia technology applied in the biological sciences, put forward some Suggestions, in order to help teachers in the multimedia teaching and the traditional teaching mode, proper trade-off between to help teachers improve the teaching quality. Key words: Multimedia; Biology teaching; Application 第一部分 文献综述 由于多媒体技术在现代教育中不可替代的地位，越来越多的教师选择依赖多媒体教学。随着时代和科技的发展，我们在课堂教学中拥有了更多选择的余地，这也使得教师在教学安排上拥有了更多的选择。有别于传统形式上的书本、黑板、教师三位一体的教学模式，在利用多媒体进行教学时，教师能够把知识更鲜明的转化为易于学生吸收的内容，让学生摆脱死记硬背的困扰；也能够扩充课堂容量，把课堂时间更多的交换给学生，这也符合新课改中对我们教师提出的要求。但是在多媒体技术教学的实际应用中，效果常常不尽
