1.定义: 宾语补足语是位于宾语之后,说明宾语的状态、特征的成分。
We find many teachers in the classroom.
主语 谓语 宾语 宾语补足语
2.宾语补足语的类型: 名词,形容,副词,介词短语, 不定式,现在分词,过去分词都能作补语
1 We call her Jenny.
2 The sun keeps us warm.
3) He ordered them away.
4) Make yourself at home.
5) They wish you to go with them.
6) I heard him singing.
7)Speak louder to make yourself heard.
1 名词作宾语补足语
We made him our monitor.
We consider him a brave man.
常用名词充当宾语补足语的动词有:
call, name, elect, make, think, appoint, choose, find, consider, keep, wish, feel等
牛刀小试:
They elected John _____ of the committee. A. a chairman B. chairmen C. the chairman D. chairman
当宾语补足语的名词若表示正式的或独一无二的头衔、职位时,前面一般不用冠词,这些名词有 :
chairman / monitor / president / governor / mayor 等。
2) 形容词作宾语补足语:
You should keep your room __________.
A. is clean and tidy. B. are clean and tidy
C. cleaned and tidied D. clean and tidy
常用形容词充当宾语补足语的动词有:believe, think, get, keep, make, find, set, like, wish, consider, prove, have, leave, 以及paint, drive, turn, cut等。
5)不定式作宾语补足语

必须带不定式to作宾语补足语的动词:
即形成ask sb. to do sth.结构。能用于此结构的常见动词有:advise, allow, ask, beg, drive, encourage, expect, forbid, force, hate, get, intend, invite, permit, persuade, teach, tell, urge, want, warn等。
