They are naked cargo (裸装货) and cargo in bulk （散装货）. The former included iron and steel plates （板）, iron rods （棒）, steel rails（轨）, etc., and the latter, oil , ores（矿石） , grain ,coal, etc. Heavy vehicles are also carried loose, because of the impracticability and high cost of packing.
