第十一讲：针对社群（社区）的社会工作(working in and with the community) We tend to experience community, like many concepts that are central to our lives. In the most basic sense, communities provide the place in which we find identity and meaning for ourselves as people, individuals, parents, children, lovers, friends, and social workers. Community is the structure, both tangible and metaphoric, that supports our connectedness to others over time. 社群（社区）工作的人性假设及其重要性 人性假设：相互依赖——我们彼此依赖(we are all dependent on one another)，这是比美国社会所强调的个人主义、自我实现更准确、更自然的人性倾向。它与基于专业、同伴支持而获得健康和恢复的实践模式一致。 社群（社区）在社会工作中的重要性：社群意味联系与疏离，在案主的生活中有很重要的作用，塑造案主的经验，也影响工作者的工作结果。即使工作者只从事一对一的社会工作服务，他们的工作的成功很大程度上也依赖于社群（社区）的性质和反应性。 (Community is an important concept for social workers because of its ramifications for clients. It represents both connection and alienation. Communities play a critical role in clients’ lives, as they shape their experiences and also influence workers’ ability to affect outcomes.
