摘 要 铁路是一个国家国民经济运行的大动脉。通过信息技术增强铁路行业的竞争实力，是使其扭亏为盈、迎接新世界挑战的基础和前提。铁路是一个庞大的企业，包含了运、机、工、电、车辆等专业部门，各部门之间围绕铁路运输协同运作，为保证部门之间信息畅通，指挥列车运行和编解列车，因此铁路需要一套完整的专用通信。 列车开行时，为了避免撞车，需要实现行车顺序的控制.现在的信号系统是采用区间信号实现这一目的。随着通信和计算机技术的发展，使得行车控制可以考虑新方法，利用卫星进行定位，通过无线通信方式进行列车与基站之间的数据传输和控制。 本文根据GPS定位技术的特点设计了行车定位系统，结合GSM-R与地面以及列车之间传输列车位置动态数据，设计出一种新的行车顺序控制方法，以较低的成本达到安全保障、提高行车效率、改善经营管理，并实现联锁列控一体化。全线区间不设传统的轨道电路，做到系统简单、现场设备少，维护工作量小，具有集中监测和智能化特点。ABSTRACT The railway is the most important factor of the national economy.
