Any citations made in the manuscript must be presented in this section and vice versa. A reference should be able to supply the detailed information of a corresponding parenthetical citation, for readers to locate and retrieve a source. It answers, almost in a sequential order, basically such questions as “who at what time published what work at what place and was published by whom.” Reference entries are arranged alphabetically according to the surname or last name of authors. In case of multiple authors, arrange the entry alphabetically according to the surname of the first author involved in the study. For each author, the last name should be followed by a comma, and the first and middle initials by periods. Separate multiple authors with commas and the last author with a comma plus the ampersand “.” Sources without authors are arranged alphabetically by title. After the authors comes the year of publication, in parentheses and followed by a period. Capitalize only the first letter of the first word of a title and subtitle if any, and any proper names within a title. The first line of the entry is flush left; hanging indents are applied starting with the second line of each reference with about 4 spaces indented.
