The 21st century, the changes in computer networks were continuing, all the cutting-edge areas of research had made significant progress. ITU-T Y.1231 standard of the IP access network launched a great promotion of the IP access network technology. Among them, the high-speed wireless access network is special striking. The first-stage construction of HangZhou wireless city had completed in 2008, which covers high-speed beltway and major roads within the urban area-wide and important scenic spots, as well as part of the park district offices and public areas. The passion of wireless city’s construction is booming, the club has dozens of cities. Todays wireless access network has been developed to adapt to a different domain of application, of which the most well-known is the Wi-Fi technology. With the help of the Wi-Fi technology, the wireless access network could adapt to a wide range of application environments. This paper explores the self-style, centralized and distributed Wi-Fi wireless access network solution. Different options as a result of different network architecture, the AP used to achieve different functions, and ultimately the formation of the wireless access network can adapt to a particular physical environment. According to actual demand, choose the most suitable options for a natural network of wireless access have also become the key to success. With Wi-Fi technology design a wireless access network for campus environment there are many issues worthy of consideration. Such as how to solve a wide range wireless signals
