Study on Reform of The Course of AutoCAD in Higher Vocational Education
Abstract:At present, course reform is underway in higher vocational education, Six-step teaching method and task driving method have great prospect of application. With many years’ practical experience, the author analyzes current status of enrollment and existing difficulties in occupational schools, and conducts in-depth analysis and exploration on reform of curriculum content, teaching method and achievements in the field of o AutoCAD teaching.

1 Introduction
At present, there are many difficulties in AutoCAD teaching, and reasons for that are complex, after working as a teacher for many years, the author analyzes on enrollment and existing problems.
1.1 Present Situation of Enrollment
According to a statistics from Shandong Provincial Department of Education, the number of students who participated in college entrance examination in the province in 2011 declined by over 300 thousand, which was also the case for the year of 2012. With less students and enrollment expansion in undergraduate school, the issue of enrollment has become the no.1 issue for occupational school. And most of students who are admitted by occupational schools have score between 200 and 350, which means that they are very poor in academic performance. But engineering students must be able to use a drawing software, and AutoCAD is the basic one, it is a professional and technical training courses for them. This course requires students to do part drawing and assembly drawing based on mechanical drawing, with weak academic basis, those students find it quite difficult, and traditional teaching method fails to stimulate their learning interest, therefore, teaching reform is a must for the course of AutoCAD.
