Make books for Chinese language learners along the Silk RoadIn the second half of 2014， the Beijing Language and Culture University Press （BLCUP） participated in the “21st Beijing International Book Fair” （BIBF）. It continued to enhance the overseas channels of products， promoted the popularity of its products at abroad， and facilitated the cooperation and development of a series of international publications and rights.This time， the BLCUP selected the excellent publications that published under the rights cooperation with oversea publishing houses， and exhibited the representative works which highlight its rights cooperation with oversea publishing houses. These results include nearly over 500 volumes of excellent TCSL textbooks and cultural products， and small language editions of multiple sets of outstanding textbooks developed for Chinese language learners of countries along the “Silk Road”. These editions include Arabic， Hindi and Thai editions of Conversational Chinese 301， New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook， Chinese Paradise， etc. Besides， oriented to the “Silk Road Economic Belt”， the BLCUP elaborately designed an exhibition theme centered on “The Silk Road of Chinese Language and Books”. During the one-week book fair， the BLCUP achieved satisfactory results in terms of oversea market expansion and international rights cooperation.I. Centering on “The Silk Road of Chinese Language and Books”， promote international TCSL and spread excellent Chinese cultureIn early 2007， the BLCUP developed various branded textbooks， such as Chinese Paradise， New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook， Conversational Chinese 301， A Course in Chinese Language， Easy Steps to Chinese， and Short-term Spoken Chinese in multiple languages， thereby， has becoming a publishing house of TCSL textbooks with the most language editions.In 2014， the BLCUP plans to improve the existing branded textbooks locally on the basis of the national education standards of primary and secondary schools
