Module 1 Unit 2 Lesson 1 Modern Hero 教学设计 课题：Unit 2 Lesson 1 Modern Hero 第1课时 课型：阅读课 授课时间：40分钟 学生分析 本班学生的年龄普遍在十六七岁左右，且绝大部分学生来自乡镇，学生的素质参差不齐，学生的英语基础差距较大，个别学生在熟练运用常用英语表达上存在各种各样的问题。但其优势在于学生较为单纯具有一定的表现欲与成就自豪感。 大部分高一学生都已在小学或初中学过至少3年的英语，具备了一定的语感、词汇、语法知识，基本上能听懂一些简单的课堂用语及一些小对话；基本上能阅读生词量不超过5%的简易文章；能用一些词汇、句型进行造句，但在英语综合表达能力上还有待提升。 学习本节课前，学生在warm up 部分已经学过hero 和heroine 的三种不同的意思：明星，主角和英雄。 学生已接触过描绘英雄人物的一些词语。 如：brave/calm/generous/intelligent/romantic/kind/violent/sensitvie。 教材分析 Lesson 1 Modern Hero是Unit 2的第1课时，学习本课的目的就是为了让学生更进一步加深对名族英雄杨利以及Chinese first manned spaceship Shenzhou V上天过程进的一步了解。National Hero（名族英雄）是英雄中的一种，并非所有英雄都可能成为名族英雄，但所有的名族英雄都是英雄，这是编写教材的专家们从名族的角度让学生了解与谈论名族伟人，从而激发学生想成为英雄人物。课文所选择的名族英雄是杨利伟是一位家喻户晓的人物，他既是名族英雄也是现代英雄，一提到他，学生有话可说，有内容可谈，从而深化了语言的学习与运用。 教学目标 According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus (新课程标准和教学大纲), and after studying the teaching material, the teaching aims are the followings: 1.Knowledge objects (语言目标：语音，词汇，语法，功能，话题) (1)The Ss can master the usage of the important words and expressions. (2)The Ss can understand the content of the lesson, talk about Yang LiWei and ShenzhouV and get their own idea about space exploration and modern heroes. 2.Ability objects (技能目标：听，说，读，写) (1) To develop the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing (2) To guide Ss to set up effective studying strategies. (3) To improve the student’s reading ability, especially their skimming and scanning ability. (4) To train the Ss’ abilities of studying by themselves and cooperating . 3.Emotion or moral objects (情感目标：兴趣，自信，合作，爱国，国际视野) (1)By completing the task, the Ss increase their interest in space exploration。 (2) The Ss will be proud of what our motherland have achieved and want to contribute to space exploration for our country or even the whole world. 四．教学重难点 The important points are: (1) To develop abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing (2)To master the usage of the important words and expressions. (3)To
