1. Learn some words and useful expressions:

2. Review expressing certainty and uncertainty (be sure) and Past Continuous Tense:
(1)I’m quite sure there are UFOs.
(2)I’m not so sure. Even scientists aren’t sure whether there are UFOs.
(3)I’m sure there are no UFOs.
(4)I’m not sure whether/if robots will make humans lose their jobs.
(5)A UFO flew over my head while I was walking toward the bus stop yesterday.
(6)While Jim was sleeping, he saw a UFO flying over his head.

Step 1 Review 第一步 复习(时间:15分钟)
1. (通过对话复习Section A出现的目标语言。)
T: Hi! S1. Do you like robots?
S1:Yes, I do.
T: Why do you like them?
S1:Because they are very useful to us.
T: What can robots do for us?
S1:They can do dangerous work instead of humans.
They can save people in danger, mend roads and so on.
T: Very good. Do you want to have one in the future?
S1:Yes, I do.
(教师示范后,挑两组学生进行表演。)
T: (对S2) Are you sure robots will take the place of humans in the future?
S2:No, I’m not sure.
T: Are you sure robots will make humans lazy?
S2:Yes, I’m quite sure.
(教师示范后,挑几组学生进行表演。)
2. (利用图片,复习过去进行时。)
T: Look at the first picture. Wei Hua was getting up at 6:30 yesterday.
(让学生思考一会,教师开始提问。)
T: Look at the second picture. Can you say a sentence with the Past Continous Tense?
S3: Wei Hua was having breakfast at 7:00 yesterday.
T: Very good. Ask and answer about the pictures in pairs.
For example:
S3: What was Wei Hua doing at 7:45 yesterday?
S4: She was walking to school at this time yesterday.
(两分钟后挑几组学生表演。)
3. (在活动中进一步复习过去进行时和肯定与不肯定句式的用法。)
(把学生分成三人一组,每人在纸上写一个动作,让另外一位同学猜他在做什么,猜时要用上I’m sure./I’m quite sure./I’m not sure.练习之后,以小组为单位在台前表演。)
(教师找两位学生帮忙,给出示范。)
