Planning a vesselPlanning a vessel

Planning a vessel (Basic) Pre-planning: Analyze: * Discharge throughput to KT/FCL/ITH/IGH ( Bays with high no. of these containers to be planned under short crane or sequenced to disc during period of high PM dynamics) * Negative Tight connection boxes to be planned under short crane or deck loading so as not to affect operations, if they are not discharged in time. * OOG / UC. Know their locations, as they take longer time to be handled. (To plan for short crane or minimize disruptions where the CCR/VR will be affected) * 45’ / RF ( Common yard block which might result in yard contention/congestion, to take care during sequencing) * I-cell: Are we able to swap 40’ containers on deck with 20’ in hatch to prevent I-cell loading for same port-mark? If not, to plan Evergreen sty le as Operator feedback that they are safer, thus more confident and speed of operations will be faster. To prevent sequencing 2 adjacent cranes to do I-cell at the same time, so that ops can do lane 2 CST to increase speed of operations. * High hoisting: Need to change PTW / SBTW to minimize high hoisting? Cater long crane to prevent operating on those bays. * Special Ops: Twin-lift / Dual Cycle / Flush Bays /Dedicated cell guide (To plan under long cranes / control crane.) * Scan through the loading cluster summary (Location of blocks. Are the clusters sufficient to allow the no. of cranes deployed to work without high yard clash?) * Balance shifting to be done (To slot after majority of shifting completed) * Inform SDM to cater for 45’ chassis / DST (If large no. of 45’, TKs or 40’ disc) * Read vessels characteristics and note down the request by vessel on Stowage instructions. * Can the Crane Intensity (C.I) decided during DAM be executed? Will i
