Unit 6 The Story of Rain 一、教学内容:Unit 6 Part A Let’s try Let’s talk Part C Task time 二、教学目标: 1、能听、说、读、写“Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds.”并能替换运用于不循环的整个过程。 2、能够完成 Task time. 3、培养学生热爱大自然的美好情感,增强环境保护意识。 三、教学重点及难点: 重点:掌握句型 Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds. 难点:Let’s try部分内容多、词汇量大。 四、课前准备: 1、教师准备A Let’s try部分内容的挂图。 2、教师准备A Let’s learn的单词卡片。 3、学生准备水彩笔、胶水、剪刀等工具。 4、教师自制多媒体课件(CAI). 五、教学步骤: Step1 Warm-up A. Free talk a. T: Good morning/ afternoon. How are you? S: Fine, thank you. How are you? T: Very well, thanks. What’s the weather like today? S: It’s sunny/ cloudy. b. T: Where do you come from? S1: I come from Huizhou. T: Where does he come from? S: He comes from Huizhou.(for some students) B. Sing and clap(用两只老虎的曲调) Where do you come from? Where do you come from? I come from Huizhou. I come from Huizhou. Where does he come from? Where does he come from? He comes from Huizhou. He comes from Huizhou. C. Use CAI to show many photos of Yao Ming, Yan Liwei, Zhou Jielun, Harry Poter… T: Who’s he/ she? Ss: He is Yao Ming. T: Where does he come from? Ss: He comes from Shanghai. Step2 Preview A. Review words: stream, rain, cloud, sun, vapour. Point to the objects and have the students repeat. B. Let’s try. a. Situation T: What’s your favourite food? S: My favourite food is pizza / bread / hot dog. T: Where does the hot dog come from? S: It comes from… b. picture talking. c. Listen and number. Step3 Presentation / Practise A. Use CAI: Show a rainy day, ask and answer. T: Where does the rain come from? S: It comes from the clouds.(板书重点句型) The same with clouds, water, vapour. B. Game: Fast reactions. Divide the whole class into four teams, T-water, T-vapour, T-cloud, T-rain. Example: Teacher asks: Where does the cloud come from? The students of Vapour stand up fast and answer: It comes from the vapour. And then change the name, little teacher asks the question. C. Watch VCD: Let’s talk for twice. D. Role-play: Let’s talk. E. Group work
