Beam Based Alignment of the Debuncher Injection Septum Dave McGinnis January 8, 2005 Introduction This document describes the alignment procedure used for the Debuncher Injection Septum. This alignment was done on December 10, 2005. Because the injection septum is motorized, there are more variables than constraints in this procedure. Because of the additional variables, the key idea of this procedure was to constrain the vertical trajectory in the AP2 line to the center of the last three quadrupoles of the AP2 line (Q731, Q732, Q733).
