It supports the overall MEDIN aim of providing a robust framework for the management and dissemination of marine data (including data products) to users and relies on and gives rationale to improving the coordination and management of marine data. The action plan will be implemented by providing guidance and resources to data holders that add value to their existing processes. This approach will be supported by projects to develop these resources and to improve and harmonise the content of reference datasets over time.
