数字时代的阅读推广 武汉大学信息管理学院 王新才 谁在提倡阅读? 谁在推动阅读? 用什么样的方式推动阅读? 阅读提倡者 国际社会 联合国教科文组织 1970 年,联合国教科文组织16 届大会,决定把1972年定为国际图书年,旨在大力推广图书在社会、经济发展中所起的巨大作用,促进人们养成阅读的习惯,朝着建设“阅读社会”(Reading Society,指社会每个成员人人读书,图书是每个人日常生活中必不可少的一部分)方向迈进。 “支援委员会”,制订“图书宪章”。明确了10个原则,如“每个人都有权读书”;“图书馆是情报与知识、智慧与美的享受的国民资源”等。 同时,在联合国教科文组织的支持下,成立了由作家、出版商、翻译工作者、图书馆馆员和书商等协会代表组成的“国际图书委员会”。1972年如期举办的国际图书年活动提出了“书为人人”的口号 1982年6月,联合国教科文组织在伦敦召开世界图书大会, 以“走向阅读社会——80年代的目标”为议题,提出了一个争取达到“阅读社会”的新的世界性行动计划 国际阅读协会 IRA Since 1956, IRA has been a nonprofit, global network of individuals and institutions committed to worldwide literacy.?
