Article 2 Natural Conditions The Port is located in a subtropical sea climate area to the south of the Tropic of Cancer with tropical depressions and typhoons from June to October. The annual average precipitation is 1702.5 mm while the annual average temperature is 21.8℃. Northeast monsoons prevail in winter and southwest and southeast monsoons prevail in late spring and summer. The Port waters are affected by irregular mixed semidiurnal tides and the tidal hydrodynamics shows an irregular reciprocating current with a mean tidal difference of less than 2 meters. Article 3 Port Areas The Port Areas cover regions along the waters of the Pearl River Estuary and the administration regions of Guangzhou City and Dongguan City. Article 4 Port Waters 1.
