The MPA search location boundary and features assessed against stages 1 and 2 were refined on the basis of the data confidence review. Following the application of stage 5, other features were also considered, to add to the broader representivity of the potential area. Where relevant these are included from stage 3 onwards to ensure that consideration of the size of the search location and management takes the feature(s) into account.
