Unit 3 School things ●Teaching aims: Learn to understand : What colour is the (Wizard’s schoolbag)? Open your (schoolbag). Take out a ruler. What’s this? A skipping rope. Hooray. How many red things are there? Stop it. Come here. Timmy. Learn to use: pencil, pencil case, pen , schoolbag, ruler, earser, book, two pens, four green pencils. ●Teaching key and difficult points: Listening to the words on the tape and filling in numbers in the book. Listening to the tape and finding out what colour the wizard’s schoolbag is. Understanding instructions and miming actions. Reading what is in the picture and colouring frames around word groups in the appropriate colour. Counting school things in a picture puzzle. Decoding the meaning of the language in a story. ● Teaching steps: First lesson Content:1、2,、7,R⑤、⑥ Warming up Sing an English song. 二、Presentation: Introduce new vocabulary. 2、Ask all the pupils to put all the objects (except their schoolbag) on thetir desk. 3、They say touch the (book). For each word the pupils should touch the named object. 4、Ask one of the pupil to be the game leader. 5、The pupils open their book at page 18, teacher read the wors,first in the order in which they are presented and then in jumbled order. Ask the pupils to point the corresponding picture. Listen to the tape, first without interruptions for general listening , then again without interruptions ,so that everybody can do the exercise. Finally ,play the tape again ,check the answers. 三、Practise: Tell the pupils to look carefully at the objects in the green boxes. Then ask them to close their books and try to remember the objects in the correct order. Repeat the exerise with the objects in the orange boxes and those in the blue boxes. Practise in pairs. There are three numbered descriptions on the tape which correspond to the three pictures in the book. The pupils have to put the correct number in the square beside each picture. The teacher should let them listen three times. The first
