What kind of TV shows do you know? Step 2 Presentation 1a Look at the pictures. There are seven bubbles ,what kind of TV shows are they? Teach the words ；sitcom,news ,soap Make a list of the names of TV shows: Talk show, soap opera Sports show game show Sitcom talent show News Finish 1a.Match the TV shows with the pictures. Step 3 Presentation Look at the picture and ask like this: What are the men doing? What are they saying? Help the students know the main drills： ---What do you think of talk shows? ---I love ---I like.... ---I don’t mind.... ---I dont like... ---I can’t stand..... Step 4. Practice Show the pictures to the students and help them to practice the drill in pairs: ----What do you think of .....? ----I ..... Step 5 Listening Ask the students list the names of TV shows and then listen to the tape and number the shows. Ask students to write them down and then give the answers . Ask the students to read after the tape.and then act it out.
