We are however aware that the farmers in the Karoo area (Beaufort West) indicated that they are not satisfied with the planned route of the Eskom Powerlines that are envisaged. This is due to bad experience with the present powerlines of Eskom Misbehave on private land. Furthermore that the roads that give access to the powerlines for Eskom are not repaired properly and erosion took place.
