Section A ( 1a-2c) Learning Objectives: Memorize and use the following new words: soccer ball, tennis ball, ping-pong bat, volleyball, basketball and baseball correctly. Understand and use the third personal form of verb correctly. Learn the expression of the possession of something by using “ have or has”. Learning Difficulty and Importance: Understand and use the third personal form of verb correctly. Teaching Method: Listening and speaking Teaching process: Step 1. Warming up and leading in Free talk, including greeting the students . And then ask st to ask some questions to get some information about me.(In this way I give students a chance to speak English in a real situation) Self-introduction My family name is Liu. My English name is Susan. I’m from No.1 Middle School. How old am I? It’s a secret. (St can guess my age.) I have a sister and two brothers. I have a son. 3. Introduce themselves like the teacher. Step 2. Presentation Repeat what a student said in the last step. He / She has a sister . He / She has a brother. Read these sentences and make sure the students understand the meaning and use of “ have” or “has”. Introduce the structure “ Do you have…?” by asking a student this question and at the same time teach them to answer. Practice the structure by guessing what I have in my handbag. (cause the students’ curiosity) S: Do you have…? T: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. ( I have a ball. It is a tennis ball. Let’s learn more balls.) Introduce new words by showing some pictures. Step 3. Learning aims 1.学会使用have 以及它的第三人称单数形式has来表示“某人有什么”。 2.学习并识记一些球类名词,如basketball等。 3.理解并正确使用Do you have ...? 及Does she / he have...?来提问。 4.理解动词第三人称单数形式的用法,并能正确使用。 Step 4. listening (1b) listen once and do exercise in 1b.
