Method Medline,Embase , CNKI, CBM, VIP, and Wanfang database were searched to collect and research random controlledclinical trials and quasi-randomizedcontrolled trials about the cases of treating HIV/AIDS using Chinese Patent Medicine combined with HAART(highly active antiretroviral therapy).Results The methodological quality was assessed and the data was obtained according to the Cochrane Reviewer’s Handbook and related methods．The results of meta-analyses showed that Traditional Chinese medicine compound preparations combined with HAART can improve the level of CD4+(MD=32.17,95%CI:5.95,58.40),P=0.02),CD8+(MD =-45.91,95% CI: -88.13,-3.68 ,P=0.03),kalovsk(MD =5.33,95% CI:0.16,10.49 ,P=0.04),and effectively decrease the complications include diarrhea, rash and fatigue.Conclusions As the included studies was limited by the quality ,the above conclusions still need high-quality clinical trials for further confirmation.
