Look at the title of the reading passage. Ask them to predict the content of the reading passage Students have a glance at the title thinking about the content of the text. To arouse Ss’ interest and make preparation for reading. Reading Task 1 Reading for understanding:
Go through the text and have the Ss choose the main idea of the text and use other words instead of the “road”
Then have the students read the text again and divide the text and match the main idea for each part
Task 2 Detail reading
Ask Ss to read the 1st paragraph carefully and answer questions. Students read the passage and then choose the main idea of the text and then match the main idea of each paragraph
