II.Characteristics of the learners 学习者特征分析
The learners are in Senior Two. They are active and interested in everything new. They have formed their own way to study and accept new knowledge. But their study ability is different. So I must design different task for different students to help them understand the main ideas and master some key languages points.

Enable the Ss to talk about plants and animals under the sea. Let the Ss know that sea plants and animals are part of human being’s life.

Help the Ss learn how to talk about plants and animals under the sea and know the importance of the relationship between animals and humans through reading.

Help the Ss learn how to talk about plants and animals under the sea and know the importance of the relationship between animals and humans through reading.
Task-based teaching;listening, reading, speaking and discussing;group work, cooperative activity.
3. 情感态度与价值观
Enable the students have some study motivation, most dare to communicate and express themselves in English. And enable them to form the habit of self-study and co-operation and know some knowledge of plants and animals under the sea. Furthermore, to help them know the importance of the relationship between animals and humans through reading.
