牛津高中英语7模块第四单元Reading1
本课是Reading的第一课时。
本课文事一篇介绍关于伦敦地铁的发展及相关事实,其主要功能是让学生了解相关知识,训练和提高学生阅读能力,通过让其参与设计的各项活动来提高他们的各方面能力。
贯穿在教学中有两点目标。其一,在教学的过程中教师应注重阅读策略的引导,以进一步提高他们阅读效率;其二,在教学的过程中,教师也应注重对学生探究意识与能力的培养,以进一步提高学生阅读能力。
教学构想及目标:
通过Fast-rading和detailed-reading让学生了解伦敦地铁的发展及其历史背景知识;学会阅读类似文章的阅读策略。
知识目标:
了解伦敦地铁的发展及其历史背景知识。
学会使用本文学会的阅读策略。
Step 1: Lead-in
T: Have you heard of London?
S: Yes. It’s the capital of the UK.
T: When we talk about London, what will you think about? Can you give me some examples what London is famous for?
S1: The Cambridge University and the Oxford University.
S2: London Bridge.
S3: the heavy fog.
S4: the Big Ben.
...
T: Well done, everyone. In addition to these, the underground system in London is also the oldest and the best in the world. Today we’ll learn something about the London Underground.
Step 2: Fast-reading for general idea.
Now let’s come to our books. Go through the passage as quickly as possible and try to find answers to the three questions in Part A. While reading, you just need to focus on and identify the information which is needed to answer the questions.
