Participation and empowerment:参于和授权 Process by which employees are empowered to take more responsibility for their performance by participating in decisions on how they do their jobs and how the company is managed. * Job enrichment:丰富工作 Addition of motivational factors related to job activities. Job redesign:重新设计工作 Restructuring of work to achieve a better fit between employees and their jobs. Often implemented by one the following methods: * Task combining:工作联合 Enlarging jobs and increasing variety so that employees feel their work is more meaningful. Natural work groups:自然工作组 Forming groups of employees doing different jobs for the same projects to help them realize the place and importance of their jobs in relation to the company’s total structure. * Establishing client relationships:建立客户关系 Increase job variety by allowing employees to interact more with customers, thus giving them a greater sense of control and more feedback on performance. * Modified work schedules:修正工作日程表 Involves a different approach to the work environment, working hours, and the work week to increase employee satisfaction. The most common forms are: * Flextime:弹性工作时间 Allows employees to choose their working hours by adjusting a standard work schedule on a daily/weekly basis. Work-share:工作分享 Allows two or more part-time employees to share a single full-time job. * Alternative workplace:可选择工作地点 Allows employees to perform part or all of their jobs away from standard office settings (telecommuting), and/or allows them to work in an office setting designed to accommodate jobs and schedules that are less dependent on assigned workplaces and personal equipment (virtual o
